You don't pay for vaccine. The publicly funded flu dose comes through Fraser Health. You pay for nurses, cold chain and the on-site clinic.
Flu and COVID-19 are funded differently. Flu vaccine is free for every BC resident six months and older. Publicly funded COVID-19 vaccine goes to eligible groups, such as people 65 and over, the severely immunocompromised, pregnant people and essential service workers like health care workers and first responders. We confirm eligibility when we scope the clinic.
