Workplace Immunization in Delta
Delta's workforce is mostly industrial and mostly on shifts: terminal and logistics crews around the port, food processing and distribution in Tilbury and on Annacis Island, and greenhouse and farm crews in the agricultural land between Ladner and Tsawwassen. These are sites where very few people can leave for a pharmacy during the day.

You are not paying for vaccine. Influenza vaccine comes to us through Fraser Health, so the publicly funded dose your staff would get at a pharmacy is the dose they get at work. You pay for the nurses, the cold chain and bringing the clinic to your site.
Flu and COVID-19 are funded differently. Flu vaccine is publicly funded for every BC resident six months and older, so the clinic is open to your whole workforce. Publicly funded COVID-19 vaccine is directed to eligible groups, including people 65 and over, the severely immunocompromised, pregnant people and essential service workers such as health care workers and first responders. Every Shift Gets the Same Offer
Port and logistics operations run day and night, and many processing plants run two or three shifts. We schedule clinic windows at shift change, including early mornings and evenings, so every crew is offered the vaccine during their own working hours.
Outside the Hygiene Zone
Food plants and greenhouses have hygiene and biosecurity rules. We set up in a lunchroom, training room or office outside the production area and follow your site procedures.

Port, warehouse and processing teams are often due for hearing testing or respirator fit testing too. The flu clinic can run on the same visit.

Vaccine Travels Cold
Vaccine is kept between +2°C and +8°C from pickup to injection, with continuous temperature monitoring. Logs are kept for three years.
We Run the Clinic
Nurses set up, screen each employee, review contraindications, administer and observe afterwards. One nurse vaccinates roughly 25 to 40 people per hour, and we scale to your headcount. You receive a participation summary; individual records stay with the employee.
