If your company is registered in a classification unit starting with 72, the program covers these annual hearing tests, so you don't pay directly for each worker tested. The program is funded through construction industry assessments, and workers receive a Record of Hearing Test card they can carry from job to job.
Under WorkSafeBC's guidelines, employers who participate in and follow the program are also exempt from the noise exposure measurement requirement in section 7.4 of the OHS Regulation.
