Under WorkSafeBC's Occupational Health and Safety Regulation, workers exposed to noise above the 85 dBA exposure limit must have a hearing test within six months of starting work and at least once a year after that, as part of the employer's hearing conservation program.
Each mobile unit can test 50+ workers per day, depending on site conditions. For larger groups we add capacity: we completed hearing testing for 200 workers at an Axiom Builders construction site in Port Coquitlam.
