Workers were also walked through the hearing protection options available to them, from disposable, reusable and banded earplugs to standard, electronic and hard-hat-mounted earmuffs and custom-fitted moulds.
Results were handled with proper privacy separation. Workers receive the appropriate information relating to their own hearing test, and the employer receives the testing and status information it needs for its records, not audiograms, hearing thresholds or clinical notes.

Testing 80 people is a different problem from testing 15.
At small crew sizes almost any approach works. At 80, the method decides whether the testing happens at all, which is why spreading the visit across two days mattered more than raw speed. Workers came through in groups that suited their own work, and nobody stood waiting for a turn.
It also mattered that the whole thing moved quickly. Pitt Meadows called, and the crew was being tested the following week. For an employer with a compliance requirement in front of them, the gap between deciding to act and having it done is often the real obstacle.
