Workplace Immunization in Kamloops
Thompson-Nicola rail, mining, pulp and forestry crews work rotations, so much of the workforce is off site on any given day.
- Flu vaccine via Interior Health
- COVID-19 vaccine for eligible staff
- Registered Nurses with immunization competency training
- Screening and consent handled by the nurse, not HR
- Participation summary for your records
You don't pay for vaccine. The publicly funded flu dose comes through Interior Health. You pay for nurses, cold chain and the on-site clinic.
Flu and COVID-19 are funded differently. Flu vaccine is free for every BC resident six months and older. Publicly funded COVID-19 vaccine goes to eligible groups, such as people 65 and over, the severely immunocompromised, pregnant people and essential service workers like health care workers and first responders. We confirm eligibility when we scope the clinic.
We also offer hearing testing, respirator fit testing and first aid training in Kamloops, and run flu clinics nearby in Kelowna. Full overview: on-site flu and COVID clinics.
Two Rotations, Two Clinic Dates
We book a session on each side of the crew change, so nobody comes in on a day off.
Rail, Mill and Yard Crews
We set up near the lunchroom or muster area at shift start and keep the 15-minute observation period on site.
Pair With Hearing or Fit Testing
Thompson-Nicola mining, rail and forestry employers can add hearing or respirator fit testing to the same visit.
Healthcare and long-term care employers: since July 2024, BC health authority staff must report their influenza immune status. It's a reporting duty, not a mandate, and an on-site clinic creates the record.

How a Kamloops Clinic Runs
We start with your rotation calendar and build the clinic dates around it.
Book Your Dates
Send us your crew rotation schedule and headcount per crew. Two to four weeks' notice lets us line up both sides of the rotation.
Vaccine Travels Cold
Held at +2°C to +8°C from pickup to injection, continuously monitored, with logs kept three years.
We Run the Clinic
Nurses screen, check contraindications, vaccinate and observe, about 25 to 40 people per nurse per hour. You get a participation summary; individual records stay with the employee.
Provincial Coverage. Local Service.
Mobile occupational health and RN-led home care across BC. We come to your worksite or home, so there is no clinic visit.
Trusted by BC Employers and Families
Trusted by BC employers for on-site compliance, and by families for RN-led care at home.
