On-Site First Aid Training for Nanaimo Employers

Clear Health Group delivers Basic and Intermediate (OFA Level 1 and 2) workplace first aid certification directly at your Nanaimo worksite, so your crew is trained without a day lost to travel or an off-site booking.

Minimum 5 people per visit. Our on-site services are booked for groups of 5 or more; we do not offer single-person visits.

Island scheduling: we run Nanaimo training in planned blocks rather than on demand, so booking two to three weeks ahead secures the dates you want.

Professional First Aid Training, Delivered at Your Nanaimo Workplace

WorkSafeBC requires most BC employers to maintain trained first aid attendants on site, and the level you need depends on how hazardous the work is and how far the crew is from medical aid. That second point matters more on the Island than it does in the Lower Mainland: a forestry block, a remote yard or a site up-Island can sit well outside easy ambulance reach, which pushes the requirement toward Intermediate certification and a designated attendant.

Nanaimo employers in forestry and wood products, marine and port operations, construction, transportation and distribution tend to land in that moderate-risk band. Offices, retail and professional services usually sit at the Basic level.

Clear Health Group brings a certified instructor and all training equipment directly to your location, whether you are in downtown Nanaimo, the North Nanaimo commercial area, the Duke Point industrial area, Harewood, Cedar or out toward Lantzville.

We also train teams by sector, including construction, manufacturing, warehousing and distribution, and retail and hospitality. For the full service overview, see on-site first aid training.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions from Nanaimo employers, HR departments and safety coordinators about our on-site first aid training.

Do you deliver first aid training directly at our Nanaimo worksite?
arrow_forward_ios

Yes. Clear Health Group delivers WorkSafeBC-compliant first aid training directly at your Nanaimo location, including downtown Nanaimo, North Nanaimo, Duke Point, Harewood, Cedar and Lantzville. Your employees stay on site throughout the session.

Is the first aid training WorkSafeBC approved?
arrow_forward_ios

Yes. Clear Health Group is a WorkSafeBC-approved first aid training agency. The Basic and Intermediate (OFA Level 1 and 2) certifications issued through our courses meet WorkSafeBC requirements, and your organization receives full compliance documentation.

Which level do our crews need?
arrow_forward_ios

It depends on the hazard level of the work and how far the site is from medical aid, which is why up-Island and remote sites often need Intermediate rather than Basic. Tell us what the work involves and where the site is, and we will tell you which level applies rather than selling you the longer course by default.

How far ahead should we book on the Island?
arrow_forward_ios

Two to three weeks is ideal. We run Nanaimo and Victoria training in planned blocks rather than on demand, so earlier booking secures better dates. We do take shorter-notice bookings when we already have a trip scheduled, so it is always worth asking.

How long does first aid training take?
arrow_forward_ios

Basic (formerly OFA Level 1) training typically runs one full day. Intermediate (formerly OFA Level 2) training typically spans two days. Duration may vary slightly based on group size and your scheduling requirements.
