Mobile Occupational Health Testing for Enbridge in Kamloops & Hope, BC

15 employees. Two BC locations. Multiple occupational health services delivered directly on-site. In May 2026, Clear Health Group's Clear Work division provided on-site hearing and respirator fit testing for 15 Enbridge employees across locations in Kamloops and Hope, British Columbia. Registered Nurse Cheryl delivered services at both sites, giving Enbridge one occupational health provider for multiple workplace testing requirements across separate locations. Following the project, Enbridge is now looking to schedule pulmonary function testing (spirometry), expanding the occupational health services coordinated through Clear Work.

About the Client

Enbridge is a major North American energy infrastructure company with operations across Canada and the United States. With employees working across multiple locations, coordinating occupational health services efficiently is important. Clear Work supported Enbridge's British Columbia operations by bringing workplace testing directly to its Kamloops and Hope locations

The Challenge
What the organization was facing

Coordinating occupational health testing across multiple workplaces can create unnecessary logistical challenges when employees are required to travel to outside clinics or when separate providers are used for different services.

Enbridge required hearing testing and respirator fit testing for 15 employees across two BC locations

The goal was straightforward: provide the required services efficiently, maintain a consistent process between locations and minimize disruption to employees and regular workplace operations.

Our Solution

Clear Work coordinated mobile hearing testing and respirator fit testing for 15 Enbridge employees in May 2026.

Registered Nurse Cheryl travelled to both locations and delivered the services directly at the workplace, providing continuity across the Kamloops and Hope sites.

Step 1: Multi-Location Coordination

Clear Work worked with Enbridge to organize testing across both BC locations.

Instead of requiring employees to arrange individual clinic appointments, the testing schedule was built around the workplace and brought directly to each site.

Step 2: Mobile Hearing Testing

Workplace hearing testing was completed on-site, making it easier for participating employees to complete their testing during the workday.

The mobile approach reduced the need for off-site appointments while giving Enbridge a centralized way to coordinate hearing testing across both locations.

Step 3: Respirator Fit Testing

RN Cheryl also conducted respirator fit testing as part of the project.

Combining multiple services through Clear Work simplified coordination and reduced the need for Enbridge to work with separate occupational health providers.

Step 4: Expanding the Program

Following the May project, Enbridge is now looking to schedule pulmonary function testing (spirometry) through Clear Work.

This next phase demonstrates one of the main advantages of working with a multi-service occupational health provider: additional workplace health services can be added as requirements evolve without starting over with a new provider.

What was included:
  • Mobile workplace hearing testing
  • On-site respirator fit testing
  • Service for 15 employees
  • Registered nurse-led service delivery
  • Testing at two British Columbia locations
  • Kamloops workplace service
  • Hope workplace service
  • Multi-location scheduling and coordination
  • Occupational health documentation
  • Planning for pulmonary function testing
The Results
What we delivered
15 employees serviced across two locations
Hearing and respirator fit testing delivered directly on-site
One registered nurse providing continuity between locations
Reduced need for employees to attend outside clinics
Minimal disruption to regular workplace operations
Simplified coordination through a single occupational health provider

Why This Approach Worked

The value of this project went beyond completing individual tests.

By coordinating multiple services across Kamloops and Hope through one occupational health provider, Enbridge was able to simplify a project that otherwise could have involved separate clinics, appointments and service providers.

Having RN Cheryl deliver services at both locations also provided consistency throughout the project.

The relationship is now expanding beyond the original hearing and fit testing services, with pulmonary function testing being planned as the next potential service.

For employers with multiple sites, this model provides a scalable way to coordinate occupational health services across British Columbia.
