About the Client

Clear Work recently completed occupational hearing testing for 30 workers at an Epic Homes construction project in Maple Ridge, B.C.

With an active construction crew to coordinate, the goal was simple: get the required hearing testing completed efficiently while making the process easy for the site team to manage.

Instead of coordinating individual off-site appointments, Clear Work brought its mobile hearing testing unit directly to the project.

The Challenge
What the organization was facing

Epic Homes needed a fast, hassle-free way to complete mandatory WorkSafeBC occupational hearing testing for 30 construction workers directly at an active job site without interrupting daily operations or sending crew members off-site for clinic appointments.

Our Solution

Noah from the Clear Work team arrived on-site with our mobile hearing testing unit and coordinated testing directly at the workplace.

Each worker was scheduled through the unit individually, with a typical hearing test taking approximately 10 minutes per person.

For construction sites, this approach makes it easier to move workers through testing in an organized way while working around the site's existing schedule, breaks and day-to-day operations.

Our team handles the testing directly at the workplace, giving site supervisors and safety teams one point of contact for coordinating the crew.

Why This Approach Worked

Construction projects can involve changing schedules, multiple trades and crews of very different sizes. Coordinating occupational health services around those conditions isn't always simple.

That's why Clear Work brings hearing testing directly to the job site.

We've built our service around working with construction companies and other B.C. employers that need a practical way to coordinate occupational hearing testing for their workforce.

Whether a project needs testing for 10 workers, 30 workers or 200+, our team can work with the site to develop a testing schedule that fits the crew.

Why This Matters
  • Saves Hours of Paid Time: Eliminates off-site travel time by completing 10-minute tests right at the job site.
  • Keeps Projects Moving: Integrates directly into your existing site schedule, breaks, and daily operations with zero downtime.
  • Simplifies Safety Compliance: Gives safety managers a single point of contact to ensure WorkSafeBC standards (IAB #436) are 100% met.
